| Style | With its smooth-riding composite frame, lightweight battery, new SyncDrive Move Plus integrated rear hub motor and all-road ready 38mm tyres, the Defy Advanced E+ AR is the ideal choice for performance-minded road riders who want to tackle steep hills, maintain higher speeds, and experience road riding with no limitations.SyncDrive Move Plus - The new SyncDrive Move Plus motor delivers 30Nm of torque, which is comparable to 75Nm of torque in a mid-drive motor-all in a lightweight, quiet system that's fully integrated into the rear hub. It features five support levels plus Smart Assist technology, which can automatically adjust pedaling support without having to change settings while riding. The motor uses sensors to constantly adjust output based on advanced algorithms. Advanced Composite Technology - Giant's High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction. D-Fuse Technology - The D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar were designed to function as a system, absorbing road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. Energypak - Giant's latest EnergyPak battery systems feature streamlined designs that are integrated with the E-bike for a sleek and modern profile. Giant E-bikes offer several different EnergyPak options including the EnergyPak Smart and EnergyPak. Each one is designed to optimize the E-bike experience for a specific style of riding. RideControl App - The updated RideControl App expands the existing customization options for your SyncDrive motor. Now you choose exactly how you want the system to perform. You can use the app to adjust from the battery-saving Eco mode all the way up to Power mode, and collect all relevant ride metrics during your activity. Smart Assist - All SyncDrive motors have Smart Assist technology, which adjusts the support to match the rider's needs. By using information from multiple sensors, both rider input and terrain feedback are used to determine the optimal amount of pedaling assistance. SyncDrive is the only e-bike system that utilizes both rider input and terrain feedback. It gives you a smooth, natural riding experience with ample power when you need it, while also conserving power when you don't need as much. E+ System - E+ System combines electric power with human power to produce a smart, natural and powerful E-bike riding experience.
